Aermes is a travel companion: plan and generate trips, turn the photos already on your phone into mapped journeys, capture moments along the way, and share it all as interactive stories. Under the hood that means on-device ML over camera rolls, a React Native app doing things React Native apps usually don't, and a Python backend stitching it together.

This blog is where we write up the engineering: the pipelines, the measurements, and the failures — with real numbers and real stack traces. No growth-hacking content, no listicles.
